SI Construction Services began as Sloan
Enterprises, a family-owned company
founded in 1933 in Kansas City.
Joe Suhor, Chairman/CEO of Suhor
Industries, the parent company of SI
Construction Services, purchased the
business in 1987 from the Sloan family.
The SI Construction Services name was
developed in 2004 as part of Suhor
Industries' desire to create their own
identity and brand. The company
has been virtually the same throughout
the years despite the name changes and
is known as a leading manufacturer and
service provider to the death care
